BIO.D

The BIO.D additive makes the EVA and rubber in Simple’s soles biodegrade with in 20 years (in a landfill or compost heap). Regular soles can stick around for a millennium.

Recycled Carpet Padding

Why not use carpet padding in shoes? Carpet padding is durable, squishy and made almost entirely from scrap and post-consumer foam.

Certified Organic Cotton

All of the cotton used is from non-genetically modified seeds and is grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Hemp

Simple use hemp because it is one of the strongest, most durable and breathable fibres available; and doesn’t require the use of pesticides or herbicides.

Recycled Rubber Tires

Some of the outsoles use a combination of recycled and natural rubber. By using recycled rubber Simple are able to extend the life of a material that is otherwise considered trash.

100% Post-Consumer Recycled Paper

Simple shoeboxes are made from 100% postconsumer recycled paper and even utilise soy based printing ink.
