‘Action Outdoors' is the theme of adventure footwear brand Teva's SS2012 collection. More than 50% of the
collection is made up of totally new styles that are designed to appeal to the next generation of active adventurers operating in and out of the water as well as in the wilds and on the streets.

"The ways people play in and around water greatly influences the design and technologies present in all our new styles," says Juerg Geser, Teva's senior director
of product.

This includes the Blue Line Collection, which is the brand's answer to action sports' influence on the outdoors, the Mainline Collection, which serves the traditional outdoor enthusiast and the Classic Collection, which celebrates Teva's heritage.

Blue Line Collection

Today's adrenaline junkies are pushing boundaries in their sports, and redefining what it means to play in "the outdoors." The Blue Line Collection addresses this
convergence of action sports with traditional outdoor activities with products that help athletes perform at the top of their game and transition easily to the streets when the adventure comes to an end.

The Blue Line Collection merges Teva's water-performance expertise with leading technologies in the Fuse-ion, a classic-looking sneaker, the Cherry Bomb 2
kayaking bootie and the Bomber Flip performance flip-flop.

Several Blue Line Collection styles feature Spider Rubber + JStep, a revolutionary slip-resistant outsole technology never before used in the outdoor market. By
combining Spider Rubber with the JStep microchannels to force liquid out from under the sole, these models offer the wearer exceptional traction on slippery and
wet surfaces.

Mainline Collection

Teva's Mainline Collection caters to traditional outdoor enthusiasts who hike, kayak, camp, climb and raft with versatile styles that work for multiple activities in all
environments.

Teva's ReForge is the next evolution of the classic hiker. Protected with ion-mask^TM nano-coating, the ReForge is a completely hydrophobic-i.e. doesn't soak up
water. This means adventurers no longer have to worry about heavy, water-logged shoes. Additionally, the nano-coating is much more breathable than a membrane,
stain resistant and won't wear off with use.

Classic Collection

Teva was born from adventure. In 1984, an innovative river guide working on the mighty Colorado River cobbled the first Teva sandal prototype. The result was
the first sport sandal that met his unique need for simple yet high-performance footwear. This concept of simplicity, versatility and performance lives on in Teva's Classic Collection.

Teva has evolved considerably since the days of the all-black strappy sandal, but the brand celebrates that heritage with this collection of updated classic Teva styles.

The Campaign

To support its Spring 2012 collection Teva is introducing the "Thin Blue Line" marketing campaign. The Thin Blue Line threads throughout all the adrenaline-pumping adventures and quiet moments of bliss that people encounter along their quest to live better stories. Starting January 2012, marketing support will include expanded retail marketing, online and print advertising, webisodes and events as well as athlete sponsorship.
