Speedo, the  UK’s no.1 swim brand, has announced its Official Partner status with the 2012 Swimathon Weekend, which will take place on 27-29th April 2012. Swimathon is the world’s largest fundraising swim and is hosted in swimming pools throughout the UK. The last event saw 580 swimming pools throughout the UK participate and this is likely to be many more in 2012

As part of its role as Official Partner, Speedo will be providing branded swim caps to all Swimathon participants as well as promotional T-Shirts and clothing for event organisers. Speedo sponsored athletes will also be involved in the launch and promotion of the event.

As this event is run through several hundred swimming pools nationwide and involves 10's of thousands of swimmers it ticks all of our boxes in terms of inspiring people to swim as well as raising money for worthy charities. ."
