Speedo has revamped its original watershorts and incorporated bonded seams using similar technology as seen at the Beijing Olympics on the record breaking Speedo LZR Racer suit.

Expressing the very essence of Speedo and its longstanding link to beach culture and lifestyle, the new range of Sports swimwear introduces vibrant and bold colours accompanied with a running theme of surrealism. The bright colours used throughout the collection reflect a youthful and urban energy, whilst the layered retro text and distressed vintage graphics allow the swimwear to stand out from the crowd whether at the on the beach or poolside.

Revolutionary technology used in the ground breaking Speedo LZR Racer suit has been adapted and applied to the new 2009 Sports range. The same innovative technique of bonded seams which were first used on Speedo LZR Racer suit, ensure a sleek look and enhance comfort. Drawstring waists, flat fronts and elasticated backs all give an improved and secure fit.

The collection also benefits from a quick dry fabric which is used throughout the range. A new draining system ensures that the pockets do not fill with water – useful when getting out of the ocean or pool!

The women’s Sports collection, sees the use of a lightweight denim fabric for swim bottoms teamed with stunning bikini tops for a funky yet sporty look. Other styles are available in over 13 different bold and bright colours as well as t-shirts that coordinate with the watershort prints for a complete beach outfit for whatever sport you’re into.
