SPEEDO AMBASSADOR KERI-ANNE PAYNE WINS GREAT SALFORD SWIM

Speedo sponsored Olympic10km open water silver medallist, Keri-anne Payne, won the elite open water race at the Great Salford Swim. The mile open water race through Salford Quays, was a hard fought competition that saw Keri-anne emerge victorious after leading from start to finish.

For the first half of the race the front two female swimmers led both wearing Speedo’s Elite wetsuit. The event was part of Manchester's Great Day of Sport.

Of her performance, Keri-anne says: ""It was a good swim, a good performance and a good day for British swimming. I needed to just go for it and it went quite well. I felt them [other competitors] attacking my feet but I said 'keep your head down and go'."
