Ali Bastian is supporting Teenage Cancer Trust by modelling new collections by Board Angels and Kangaroo Poo, being sold in aid of the charity at MandMDirect.com . Ali, who is currently starring in The Bill as PC Sally Armstrong, took time out of her busy recording schedule to spend a day being photographed in the funky new ranges which include T-shirts, jeans, dresses and shorts.

The clothes will be available exclusively through MandMDirect.com, the UK’s leading online discount fashion and sports retailer from July 2008. For each item sold, a donation will be made to Teenage Cancer Trust, adding to the 300,000 that MandMDirect.com has already raised for the charity during their three-year partnership.

Taking time out at the shoot, Ali spoke about her support of Teenage Cancer Trust: "When Teenage Cancer Trust approached me to model these fantastic new ranges I just couldn’t say no. The work that TCT does to make life easier for teenagers and young people going through cancer is amazing. It’s hard to imagine what it’s like to be going through your teens – one of the most difficult times in your life – and finding out you have cancer. TCT tries to make this experience easier to bear by building special units in NHS hospitals where teens and young people can be treated with others their own age instead of being on a ward with children or elderly people.
