mandmdirect.com, the UK’s leading online and mail order retailer of discounted lifestyle, fashion and sports apparel and footwear, has been placed second in the 2008 Sunday Times Deloitte Buyout Track 100. It’s the first time the company has appeared in Fast Track and the placing comes after a hectic year for the company which saw it break all its previous sales records and become one of the top five visited clothing websites in the UK across the Christmas 07 period according to web analysts Hitwise.

In October 2007, leading growth private equity and buyout firm, T A Associates completed a majority investment in the company formerly owned by its founders, management and ECI Partners. Steve Robinson, formerly CEO of Tesco Direct was appointed CEO.
