Eurosport will be showing comprehensive coverage of the swimming events at the 2008 Beijing Olympics from Saturday August 9th. Swimming heats and finals will be shown live as the world’s best swimmers compete for Olympic Gold in China.

Eurosport will be broadcasting more than 400 hours of Olympics coverage, and devoting the entire channel to Beijing for the duration of the event, including up to 15 hours a day of live action. The channel goes live from 2am each morning through to 5pm. In the evening viewers can enjoy highlights of the day’s competition, including "Beijing Express", a one-hour round up of the day’s action. All main events are then repeated through to 2am.

Leading swimming commentary for Eurosport is James Parrack, a GB representative at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and a Commonwealth Games silver medallist in the 100m backstroke in Auckland, 1990.
